3. The campaign message continues to focus on alleged failures of the United Party for National Development (UPND) Government in the Constituency. The key issues highlighted include, the poor state of township roads, limited empowerment for women and youths, perceived economic hardships, among residents and the load shedding experienced in the last four (4) years, which they feel may be re-introduced after the August 2026 general election. The Team promised that if elected, Tonse Pamodzi Alliance would prioritise the upgrading of township roads, enhance access to Constituency Development Fund (CDF) as well as expand youth and women empowerment initiatives. Meanwhile, the Team has also been sensitizing the electorate on how to vote in the polling booth and identifying the lamp on the ballot paper as their party symbol. The message has been well received by the electorate, who pledged to vote for the candidate.
