11. The Candidate’s campaign promotes women and youth empowerment, and support for vulnerable groups. She has also sought to capitalize on highlighting the shortcomings of Mr. Monty CHINKULI, immediate past UPND MP for Kanyama Constituency, under which parts of Makeni Constituency were previously aligned before the delimitation exercise, by informing the electorate that there was no need to vote for another UPND Candidate. Further, she has broadened her campaign message to target unskilled and semi – skilled workers working in the various industries in the Constituency, promising to solve their challenges of low salaries, unlawful working hours, and work place safety. The electorate have generally been receiving her campaign message with appreciation but she has not received overwhelming support.
