3. Mr. KAUNDA has primarily pledged to initiate developmental projects in the Constituency, such as, upgrading of township roads, construction of bridges, and sinking of boreholes, among others. His campaign team has also been promising the electorate that Mr. KAUNDA would facilitate initiative, such as, introduction of empowerment loans to vulnerable groups. Additionally, his manifesto has largely centered on inclusive and practical development that responds directly to the needs and aspirations of the people. He has also began highlighting strides made by the previous regime, such as, infrastructure development projects, while undermining Government, amid claims that the UPND Administration has subjected the Zambian people to poverty. However, his campaign activities in the area have reduced due to his absence as he has accompanied Mr MUNDUBILE, NRPUP Presidential candidate campaign entourage in Northern province. Meanwhile, the message has been welcomed by the locals as it resonates with their calls for infrastructure development and empowerment.
