11. The Candidate has focused his message on better road network, clean water, skills training and job opportunities of young people and development of small businesses and local enterprises. In his campaigns he has also focused on undermining the strides made in the New Dawn Administration, contending that the ruling party has not fulfilled their campaign promises that included, lowering the cost of living. Further he has pledged that once ushered into office, every Zambian would own land. His message has been received with mixed reactions, with some electorate questioning the practicality of every citizens owning land in Zambia. .
